We have been under attack and need your help.
About a year or so ago, we posted a picture of a stainless Daytona with aftermarket add-ons on one of our Instagram pages. Shortly after that, a page on Instagram called @wristbusters (who also runs the new @rolex_enforcer page) alleged on a post that we sold fake watches. Given that adding aftermarket parts to a watch does not make it fake and is a very common practice in the industry, we contacted Wrist Busters and asked them to remove their false allegations and cease their defamation of character initiative against us. We also contacted the Rolex Enforcer (who at the time was one of the most famous fake-watch-busters on Instagram and who we’ve collaborated with on multiple YouTube videos in the past, has purchased watches from us, and vouches for us as a jeweler), who also knew Wrist Busters, and requested his help on this matter as well. After a few messages back and forth between all parties, Wrist Busters removed the associated post. We thought the matter was resolved after that. Boy were we wrong!
Around five months ago (around the middle of March 2019), Wrist Busters returned with a new round of non-stop attacks consisting of continuous humiliation and harassment of CRM Jewelers’ personnel via stories, DMs, comments and posts on their private Instagram page, defamatory remarks about CRM Jewelers as a business and the way we treated our customers, etc. We were taken back by their apparent hatred for CRM Jewelers and learned from the Rolex Enforcer that, at some point in time in the past, the Wrist Busters page had changed ownership. This begs the question, what person or persons are behind @wristbusters?

We are looking for a solution to this matter, as things are spiraling out of control given that it’s so easy to get someone’s page taken down on Instagram (even if the page belongs to a legitimate, family owned business such as ours). On April 14, 2019 at 2:47 PM EST, we reported one of @wristbusters’ posts using Instagram’s copyright infringement form online because we felt that it violated our copyright (Instagram Intellectual Property Report # 479885795907574). By 8:32 PM EST on that same day, Instagram confirmed via email that the post did violate their Terms of Use and acknowledged its removal.
Shortly after that, Wrist Busters reposted the same media and mentioned on the post that they would continue to repost it regardless of the number of times that we reported it.
Consequently, we reported the violation to Instagram once more at 9:11 PM EST (Instagram Intellectual Property Report # 368530067172002) and thought they would take it down again promptly. As it turns out, they didn’t. They actually disabled our @crmjewelers Instagram account at around 10:00 PM EST! As we later learned, Instagram would likely take down a page automatically that gets reported enough times (whether or not that page violated any of Instagram’s terms). Consequently, prior to Instagram deleting the infringing content on Wrist Buster’s page the second time, it appears that the person or persons behind Wrist Busters organized a coordinated mass effort among their followers to report our page.
We were totally freaked out when this happened, given that our Instagram page had never been taken down before. Fortunately, we requested an appeal through the Instagram app and our page was restored in approximately 4-5 hours.
After that, Wrist Busters splattered their successful take-down attempt all over the IG stories. In fact, on the very next day, they got Instagram to take down our page again. Thankfully, given Instagram’s algorithm learns through their artificial intelligence (AI) code, our appeal was granted in minutes the second time around.
Since the above incident, we have even received messages from some of Wrist Buster’s followers expressing their disagreement with the tactics and approach of the page’s owner(s). There are also followers throughout their posts that ask where all their hatred towards our organization comes from. Unfortunately, these followers are rudely instructed to go through their past and allegedly incriminating content or are even ridiculed for expressing the slightest hint of disagreement.
In conclusion, we are looking for any information regarding the identities of the people behind @wristbusters on Instagram. If you can help with this, please click here to contact us. Your identity will be kept strictly confidential.
Update: Wristbusters Down
About a week after we wrote the above information, the @wristbusters Instagram page went down (possibly due to getting flagged for continuous copyright infringement and harassment by other pages). Days passed and the page didn’t go back up, so we checked @rolex_enforcer on Instagram (a page gifted by the old Rolex Enforcer to the prior @wristbusters owner) to see if anything regarding the take-down had been posted. We noticed that even though there weren’t any new posts about this, there were some comments in the most recent posts on @rolex_enforcer where people began asking what had happened to @wristbusters. The response from the person running the page was that it had gotten taken down by Instagram and that they were working to have the page restored. Even though the page hasn’t been restored as we write this, the owner of @rolex_enforcer is the same person as @wristbusters (as stated in the @rolex_enforcer profile section), so information on the people behind either page would suffice.
